To Mike’s family, you may not remember me but my family grew up next door to you on Jed Place and Mike was my first playmate. He was the best, sweetest little boy and we had so much fun together. Although we went all through school together along with my husband Prentice, we lost touch in high school where there were so many people! I have thought of him often, especially on his birthday because mine is the day before and we often celebrated together as little kids. I do regret that I won’t see you to pay my respects to Mike, but know that we’ll be praying for your family! Love to you all!

I want to let his family know that our hearts break to hear this sad news. Although we have not seen Mike in a while, he was a dear friend that we shared a lots of good times with him.
