Mary Anne Hodgin Hawkins, 69, of Owensboro, Kentucky, passed away on February 29, 2024, at Ohio County Healthcare. She was born August 17, 1954, in Owensboro to the late Wilbur and Dorothy Thompson Hodgin. Mary was a beautician and of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed spending her time at the quarter store, loved going to flea markets and yard sales, and helping anyone that she could.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hawkins, and her children, Charlie Hawkins and Stephen Hawkins.

She is survived by her children, Jeramey Alan Hawkins, Johnathon Scott Hawkins, and Brandie Marie Hawkins, and her grandchildren, Bailey Borun-Hawkins, Brittany Cook, Elijah Haycraft, Jay Hawkins, Gavyn Hawkins, and Harley Hawkins.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2024, at St. Stephen Cathedral. Burial to follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory and again from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2024, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of charitable donations made payable to the funeral expenses of Mary Anne Hodgin Hawkins, C/O April Dickens. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
